The Innovation Fund of Montenegro is publishing a Call for Applications for the selection of members of the Expert Committee for the evaluation of project proposals submitted under the Call for Early-Stage Startup Development Support.

The experts will evaluate projects submitted under the Early-Stage Startup Support Programme, with a total budget of €400,000. The aim of this programme is to strengthen the startup community in Montenegro by supporting the growth and development of both existing and new startup companies. Teams or existing startups developing solutions with high market growth potential are eligible to apply. The Fund's grant of up to €35,000 per project provides not only financial support, but also mentoring, which is especially valuable at this stage of development.
In this regard, three independent experts are needed with professional competencies, experience and knowledge relevant to the evaluation of project proposals. The main task of the Expert Committee is to assess and evaluate the submitted proposals based on pre-defined criteria and to make funding recommendations to the Innovation Fund. The evaluation process will be conducted in accordance with international best practices, ensuring transparency and fair competition.
The evaluation process will take place in June and July 2026, with the Pitch before the evaluation committee scheduled for the week of 20–24 July, to be held in Podgorica.
