As part of its ongoing support for potential applicants, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro is organising weekly online info sessions via the Zoom platform every Wednesday, starting 20 May, from 09:00 to 10:00. The sessions will be held throughout the duration of the open Public Calls.

During the sessions, interested parties will have the opportunity to ask our team questions and receive additional information about current support programmes, the application process and evaluation criteria.
The following support programmes are currently open:
1. Programme for Strengthening the Innovativeness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
Total budget: €1,300,000
Grant amount: €50,000 – €200,000
This programme line is aimed at increasing the innovativeness of micro, small and medium enterprises through the introduction of process innovations or the development of new or improved market-oriented products, services or technologies.
2. Early-Stage Startup Support Programme
Total budget: €400,000
Grant amount: up to €35,000
This programme is designed to strengthen the startup community in Montenegro by supporting the growth and development of teams, both existing and new startup companies. Teams or existing startups developing solutions with high market growth potential are eligible to apply. The grant of up to €35,000 per project provides not only financial support, but also mentoring, which is especially valuable at this stage of development.
3. Promoting Innovation Culture
Total budget: €100,000
Grant amount: up to €8,000
This programme line supports the organisation of events, competitions, innovative idea initiatives and other activities aimed at developing creativity and innovation that promote an innovation culture.
4. Implementation of Educational Programmes in Smart Specialisation Areas
Total budget: €200,000
Grant amount: up to €10,000
This programme aims to make a continuous contribution to the growth of Montenegro's competitiveness and the building of an innovation and knowledge-based economy, by engaging prominent professionals, scientists, innovators and/or entrepreneurs from Montenegro and abroad to deliver structured training of up to six months, enhancing the knowledge and skills of young people.
