The "Robotics for the Youngest" Project to Continue – Innovative Learning Model Confirmed as a Success!
The Robotics for the Youngest programme, jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro and the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, and funded by the Central Bank of Montenegro, has been recognised as a successful example of integrating modern technologies, creative learning and the development of financial literacy among the youngest school-age children, and will continue in the period ahead.
This is one of the conclusions of the session of the National Committee for the Development of Financial Education, chaired by the Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Dr Irena Radović. The session reviewed the project's results to date, as well as opportunities for its further improvement and expansion.
Committee members assessed that the project represents an innovative approach to learning through hands-on work, play and teamwork, enabling children to acquire basic financial knowledge and skills in an engaging and accessible way, while simultaneously developing digital, logical and creative competencies.
It was particularly noted that the project contributes to the development of key future-oriented skills, fostering curiosity, critical thinking and an understanding of basic economic and financial concepts through the use of educational robotics.
The National Committee supported the continuation of the project, emphasising the importance of its long-term sustainability and accessibility to the greatest possible number of students and schools across Montenegro.
The Innovation Fund of Montenegro will continue to support initiatives that, through innovative learning methods, contribute to the development of knowledge, skills and competencies of younger generations, recognising education as one of the key foundations for building an innovative and competitive society.
