As part of the official World Bank visit to Montenegro, organized through the program Building an Effective Sustainable and Transformational Public Sector (BEST), on March 4, 2026, representatives of the World Bank visited the Innovation Fund of Montenegro.
During the meeting with the Fund's management, progress in the field of innovation in Montenegro was discussed, with a special focus on institutional capacities, coordination mechanisms within the innovation ecosystem, and opportunities for its further improvement.
As part of the visit, the Innovation Fund also hosted a roundtable with representatives of companies that are beneficiaries of the Fund's support programs. The goal of this meeting was the exchange of experiences and discussions on the needs and challenges faced by innovative enterprises, as well as identifying opportunities to provide additional support in the coming period.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the World Bank, representatives of the Innovation Fund, as well as representatives of the companies benefiting from the Fund's programs, who shared their experiences in developing innovative solutions and implementing projects supported through the Fund's programs.
The Innovation Fund of Montenegro thanks the World Bank representatives and the participants of the roundtable for a constructive discussion and the exchange of valuable insights that will contribute to further strengthening the innovation ecosystem in Montenegro.
