The Voucher for the Protection of Invention – 2023 programme was designed to provide support to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and individuals from Montenegro who, during 2023, obtained patent protection for an invention in Montenegro or were undergoing the international or European patent protection procedure before the European Patent Office (EPO) or the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
The Public Call for the award of vouchers was implemented as an open call, remaining open until the allocated funds were exhausted.
Applications were processed in the order in which they were received through the Fund's online portal, and vouchers were awarded in the same order, subject to the outcome of the application evaluation.
Applications for vouchers opened on 8 May 2023 and remained open until all available funds had been allocated.
