Based on the Public Call for a Strategic Partnership for the Implementation of a Start-up Pre-acceleration Programme, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro awarded a grant of EUR 100,000 to support the BoostMeUp programme, proposed by Tehnopolis in Nikšić.
The Public Call was launched on 8 May 2023 and remained open until 8 June 2023. Its objective was to award a grant to a strategic partner that would serve as a transparent intermediary in the design and implementation of a pre-acceleration programme for start-ups.
A total of two project applications were submitted. One application was rejected during the administrative compliance check, while the BoostMeUp project successfully passed the administrative review and received a positive evaluation following the evaluation process.

The BoostMeUp pre-acceleration programme serves as a national platform for strengthening Montenegro's innovation ecosystem by developing financing models and improving access to capital, fostering knowledge creation and dissemination, increasing the availability of talent, promoting an entrepreneurial culture, and facilitating access to markets.
